MIU CSE Fest'20 Registration for only CSE Students MIU CSE Club is happy to announce that we are going to arrange a two-day long first CSE FEST 2020 for ICT enthusiasts from different Universities, Colleges.

This big ICT event will be held on 14-15th march,2020. Students of MIU and colleges are invited to participate in these competition. Participants can form groups(For Programming contest and Project showcase). Maximum number of members in a group should be three (3). Participants have to registration for every event.

Conditions:

• Only the students of Universities is allowed to participant without limiting scope. Security clearance is necessary for every participant.
• Participants will have to participate with their team which minimum and maximum three (3) members.

Rules & Regulations:

1. Total Contesting Hours is Three.
2. A team will receive equal credit for solving a problem (passing all test cases - no partial credit), regardless of the difficulty level of that problem. Teams are ranked according to the total number of problem solved. Ties will be broken by the total penalty time for each team in ascending order.
3. Judge details and contest platform will be declared very soon.
4. Team can use printed materials or template or book. Maximum 20 pages of printed materials or template are allowed.
5. Code printing facility will be available..
6. eams should not copy source codes from the internet. If the source codes of two teams are very similar because they copied from the same source (online or offline), they cannot present it as an excuse.

MIU CSE Club is welcoming students to participate in the Gaming Contest. Game: PUBG, NFS, BEAT SABER .

Terms & Conditions:

Authority reserves the right to install additional software and/or join as an observer for tournament operations purposes, such as verifying match results or gathering match data.

1. The teams and player’s abilities cannot be modified arbitrarily.
2. Authority will just provide keyboard. You can bring your own gaming gears like keyboard, joystick with your own responsibility. Authority will allow your gears and you can play with your gears.
3. Players shall be responsible for keeping track of game situation so if a game is interrupted, the situation can be restored. In all situations possible, tournament referees will monitor the game situation so that it may be restored in the event of game interruptions.
4. Players shall raise their hands at the end of the game so a referee can record their score. Only scores reported to the referee are official.
5. No coaching allowed (for example, people in the audience may not advise a Player while playing).
6. In case of any kind of unfortunate event or disconnection, disc error or electricity failure, the score will remain the same regardless of game played but the half in which the problem occurred will be played again.
7. Any participant deliberately attempting to sabotage or damage equipment to restart matches will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.

2. Question type: MCQ and Short-answer and all the questions will carry equal marks.
3. Exam time 50 minutes.
4. Be fair and honest, Plagiarism will result in disqualification
5. Judge’s decisions will be final.

N.B.-The Competition is only amongst University Students and College Students. School level students are not allowed to participate

Participants must bring their respective Student IDs for verification purposes at the event and also participants are requested to bring multiplug.

Eligibility:

1. The competition is open for all students in Colleges and Universities in Bangladesh. There are two divisions. The junior division is for college participants, and the senior division is for undergraduate university students.
2. Participants may participate as an individual or as a team. If you participate as a team, please note the

following requirements:

1. A team can have 1 - 3 members.
2. Each team must have a Team Name Team members can be from any college or university.

General Rules:

1. There will be 2 Divisions for the Project Showcase.
   1. Unior Division – For College Students.
   2. Senior Division – For Undergraduate University Students.
2. IAll projects must be either software or hardware.
3. Every participant and the participating team may bring a poster describing their project. Teams must showcase a demo of their project in action. Each participant or team will have to present their project to the judges.
4. The winners will be determined by a panel of Judges. The Judges’ decision is final. The top two projects will be the Winner and Runner-Up.
5. Each participant is responsible for the safety and security of their project and belongings. The organizing committee will not be held responsible for the loss of any equipment or belongings.

• Judges’ decision will be final, and no communication will be entertained on this in any case.
• Photos having signature, logo, watermark, and border are not acceptable.
• Downloaded photo which is not own by the participant/s is not allowed to submit.
• If you choose to include people in your submission, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary releases from the individuals depicted, in case required.
• The organizer reserves the right to change competition prizes and/or modifies the rules and regulations of the competition as and when necessary, with/without prior notice.

2. Borders Manipulation.
3. Deliberately arranging something in order to mislead the audience.
